WNBL: Women's National Basketball League of Australia
The WNBL is known as the WNBA of Australia. It consist of ten teams (now eleven with the addition of the Wagga Wagga Wallaroos). All of its games have been televised by ABC since 1989 for the people of Australia to view.
Each game consist of 4 ten minute periods, where each team can have up to twenty players on the roster. The home team is allowed to play up to 12 players and the away team can play up to ten players.
